Explore the night sky through science, culture and ancient knowledge systems.

Students investigate cultural astronomy and the Pleides constellation, blending First Nations knowledge and STEM to create respectful, future‑focused stories and technologies.

 

Seven Sisters: Sky Stories blends cultural knowledge, astronomy and creative technologies to help students rethink what STEM looks like and who it is for. Guided by First Nations perspectives and inspired by the Seven Sisters sculpture at Hume Tech School, students explore how stories, observation and technology shape our understanding of the cosmos.
